I had meant to write this post at the start of 2021. Well, work and procrastination got in the way. Of course, time flies and now we are in the second half of 2021. The pandemic has been raging on since the start of 2020 with no end in sight. Fortunately, with vaccine roll-out underway, things start to look better.
With outbound travels restricted, I can only rely on staycations to satisfy my wanderlust. Since the end of circuit breaker in 2020, I have been embarking on staycations in various Singapore hotels. A mix of 5-star and 4-star hotels mainly. Raffles hotel and Capella turns out to be my highlights. A stay at 3-star hotel is the Raffles Marina turns out to be rather memorable as well. Probably will have a separate post on my Singapore staycations.
Though it may be a little late, I would still like to pen down my 2021 New Year Resolutions. In this time and age, staying safe is definitely the way to go. I am also thankful that with the ongoing pandemic, I am still able to work and earn a salary. Hope that it continues this way. After all, this salary is meant to fund my globetrotting passion haha! Hope that borders reopen soon and that I can resume travelling again!😁
