The ferry left the port on time, at 1230. Fortunately for me, everything in my itinerary has run smoothly as planned. From the Qatar Airways flight arrival in Oslo, to SAS domestic flight, to the bus transfer from Kirkenes airport to ferry port, to check-in on the ferry. The connection was tight. Luckily nothing was delayed.
I was on the ferry for a total of 5 days 4 nights. The scenery along the Norwegian coast was just mesmerizing. But the daylight hours in winter is short. Sunrise occurs at ~0930 and sunset occurs at ~1230. By 3pm, it became dark. So any photo of the beautiful coastline must be taken within the short daylight hours.
