I would like to share an article that I came across in a Chinese newspaper:
Going abroad for a tour has always been for people who have the $$ and who have the time. To people who does not have either, a tour becomes merely a desire. Touring lets us experience different sights, different people, culture, ... Some of us enjoy the destination, some of us enjoy the process, some of us enjoy our tour partners (family, friends, ...).
Actually, even if we do not go abroad, we can still go on a tour. Every time we step out of our house to make a trip, the people we met on our journey are always different. Do this count as a "tour" then?
In life's journey, most, if not all of us, would have one another for company. The unfortunate thing is that sometimes our journey may stop unexpectedly, or that our tour partners may depart suddenly.
In this "free and easy tour", our parents, elders, teachers and mentors will accompany us on this journey at various times, as our tour guides. Then some time later, we ourselves may become tour guides for our parents and children on this journey.
To be able to journey together is indeed a blessing. Who knows, some day it will no longer be possible.
