Beijing '10

Today is 31 Dec 2014. Tomorrow marks the start of 2015. My new year resolution... to earn $$ and save $$. Yes, I want to save up for my america trip. Probably the year after. It is one continent that I have not visited and is on my wishlist. But America is too far away from Singapore, so need a lot of $$ to enjoy myself over there. I promise myself not to overspend in 2015 so that I can save enough for a wonderful trip. To be precise, I want to visit U.S. and Canada.

These recent years I have already started to reduce my trips, partly
because I feel that I have travelled enough. The world is just too big to visit in 1 lifetime. And my aim is not to visit every single country in the world. My aim is just to explore as many countries as I'm financially and physically able to. Thank you God for giving me the opportunity to visit many countries. I have always appreciate and treasure each and every of my trip, for there are always new things to learn, and new experience to enjoy.

Beijing, the capital of big (very big) China, is also my first time to China. I truly learnt the meaning of overpopulation and air pollution. In comparison, the haze we experience here is really nothing. Reminds me of this saying: 不到长城好汉 Don't know who or where I learn this from, but anyway went to see the Great Wall. I present you, the photos...

My first and likely last time on a Chinese airplane.

Forbidden palace. Well, not really forbidden to go in now. Grand and majestic.
Found a quiet spot for a breather. Too many mainland Chinese tourists.

Shopping at Wangfujing. Like our Orchard Road, but cheaper

An acrobatics performance

See the lines of people behind me. As I climb higher, people get lesser
