Langkawi, Malaysia '11

Went to Langkawi in Malaysia, a very short flight with Silkair. It was a weekend trip, coming back on Sunday night. Thinking back, for the flight back, it was raining quite intensive, but the night flight still departed as usual, otherwise I might not be able to return to work the next day. We were there in September. That time I did not check the weather forecast, and only realized too late that it was rainy season. Most of the time it was heavy rain. Fortunately, we were still able to stick to our itinerary. At first, our tour guide said the cable car was suspended due to the heavy rain, but fortunately it re-opened before we left, so we can still ride up the mountain:)

Langkawi is a resort island, mostly caters to the beach tourists and those interested in the geo park.
